The first seepage experiment at the Rostock test dike has been performed in October-November 2012. For the experiment polder 3 was filled within approximately 3 hrs and emptied after 21 days within approx. 30 minutes. No slope failures could be observed. First results of the measurements show that the sensor and logger systems work well to record the infiltration of water into the dike body. In Spring 2013 the next seepage experiments will be performed. Data will be published on conferences and in journals as well as here on the web site.
