The department 320 „water administration, coastal and flood protection“ of the State Agency for Agriculture and the Environment Stralsund (StALU-VP) is responsible for planning and construction works of the state water management authority, the planning and realisation of construction works at first order waters, for flood and coastal protection facilities including maintenance, service and controlling. The department is also the technical advisor for the Water and Soil Associations.

Role in the Project

In the project the StALU-VP will provide technical assistance and support with the realisation of the pilot dike as technical advisor for the WBV. The water administration department will also assist in the dissemination of the project results and use the best practice guideline in future projects.
