PRISMA Project Visited DredgDikes

From 23-27 September 2013 13 members of the PRISMA project (www.prisma-projects.eu) visited the DredgDikes partners in Rostock and Gdansk. The PRISMA project (Promoting Integrated Sediment Management) has been designed to develop improved methods for processing, treatment and reuse of dredged sediments. On 24 September the PRISMA partners visited the Rostock test dike during ongoing overflowing tests. In the afternoon a meeting was held at the University of Rosock with presentations of both projects and discussions about possible future collaborations. On 26 September the PRISMA partners visited the Gdansk test facility and had inspiring discussions at Gdansk University of Technology. After the linking of DredgDikes to the INTERREG projects SMOCS and SETARMS this has been the third fruitful link to an ERDF project during the project lifetime with good potential for future cooperation projects in the different EU funding schemes.
