South Baltic Conference on New Technologies and Recent Developments in Flood Protection

We are happy to invite you to the South Baltic Conference on Dredged Materials in Dike Construction, the second of two project conferences which will take place in Gdańsk, 5-6 June 2014.

Scope

The conference is organised in the frame of the project DredgDikes in which the application of dredgd materials in dike construction is investigated. There are a variety of research groups dealing with this topic as well as the general applicability of fine-grained organic dredged materials or composite materials in geotechnical engineering. Also, geosynthetics solutions to solve some of the problems connected to the use of fine-grained organic dredged materials in dike constructions will be reviewed.

Call for papers

Scientific and technical papers are welcome on all above topics. The papers will be undergo a review process. Abstracts should not exceed 3000 characters of text and a maximum of 5 figures and should contain complete author and contact data. Please indicate the topic of your contribution using the above list. For more information on abstract submission please consult the conference bulletin 1.
