Construction of the Polish Test Dike

The procurement phase for the construction of the Polish Test Dike within DREGDIKES project to be constructed in Trzcinsko near Gdansk has ended in May 2012. DredgDikes Present on Conferences in May 2012

The DredgDikes project was presented on the 12th Baltic Sea Geotechnical Conference in Rostock. A presentation was held, a poster was presented and an excursion to the Rostock test dike construction site was organised. Also, the 8th International Conference on the Environmental and Technical Implications of Construction with Alternative Materials in Gothenburg (WASCON 2012) was visited to promote the DredgDikes ideas in Sweden.
DredgDikes 2nd Monitoring Group Meeting

The 2nd DredgDikes Monitoring Group Meeting was held in Rostock 24-25 April 2012. All partners and 5 associated organisations took part in the successful meeting. On the first day the progress of the German and Polish partners was presented. An excursion to the construction site of the Rostock test dike was organised for all participants.
Heavy Rainfalls Delay Dike Construction
